MCM 1960's Wade of California Pottery Avocado Green Leaf Dish Drip Glaze

This striking 1960s Wade of California leaf dish is a bold pop of avocado green with an irresistible drip glaze finish. Sculpted in a trio of leaves with a stem-style handle, it features a red berry accents lid and that classic MCM flair we all know and love. A statement piece that pulls double duty: eye-catching decor and a catchall for nuts, candies, or cocktail olives.

Wade pottery has distinct roots in both California and England. In 1912, George J.W. Wade co-founded Poxon China in California, later renamed Vernon Kilns, known for affordable earthenware and artware. Meanwhile, Wade Ceramics began in 1867 in Burslem, England, as several family-run firms producing jugs, vases, and more. These united in 1958 as Wade Potteries Limited, becoming renowned for their craftsmanship and collectible figurines. Despite shared lineage, the two operations developed independently.
